France u20 take a 10-7 lead over Ireland u20 into halftime. France missed an early penalty but opened the scoring with a successful shot at goal just five minutes in. A long range French penalty fell short, but the hosts did cross for the first try after 27 minutes to open up a 10-0 lead. Ireland hit back with a try five minutes later which sees them trail by just three points at the break.
