D'Angelo Leuila, born on January 18, 1997, is a Samoan rugby union player who primarily plays as a fly-half or fullback. He currently represents Waikato in the Bunnings NPC (National Provincial Championship) in New Zealand.
Leuila was named in the Waikato squad for the 2021 Bunnings NPC, a competition that his team went on to win. He has been a key player for Waikato in his preferred positions of fly-half and fullback.
Internationally, Leuila represents Samoa. He made his debut for the Samoan national team in 2016, playing against Georgia. Since then, he has been a part of the Samoan setup and has represented his country in international matches.
Leuila's rugby journey began at the age of 7 when he started playing the sport. He was encouraged to play by his late grandfather, Isaia Leuila. From a young age, he showed promise and caught the attention of national selectors. He has been a regular presence in Auckland representative teams, showcasing his skills and talent on the rugby field.
