Egerton is the first player since 1925 to score in three consecutive Varsity Games and he also has 4 Oxford wins under his belt in this illustrious game. Between January and April 2015 he made 11 appearances and scored seven tries for Yorkshire Carnegie in the Greene King IPA Championship before agreeing a contract with England Sevens.
He enjoyed a short contract stint with Harlequins as an injury cover before making his World Sevens Series debut in Singapore scoring a try in their Bowl semi-final match against Scotland in April 2016.
Egerton will move to Newcastle Falcons on a new contract at the start of the 2016/2017 season.
