Representing Western Province at age group levels, Stevens, got noticed initially at the U16 Grant Khomo Week playing for Namibia. He plays Club rugby & Varsity Shield Rugby for the University of Western Cape and debuted for Namibia in 2015 and will represent them in the RWC.
Stevens also played for the South African team Western Province in the 2016 Currie Cup and with the Sharks XV team in the 2017 South African Rugby Challenge. He then played for the Griquas and Boland Cavaliers in 2018 and in 2020 he played for the Olimpia Lions.
In 2022 he signed up with Nola Gold in USA, playing in the Major League Rugby notching 14 appearances with 13 starts.
Stevens is also Head Coach of the Harahan River Coyotes Rugby Football Club.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Stevens has been named in the squad for Namibia.
