Theo Cabango is a Welsh rugby player who came through the ranks at the Arms Park, having attended Ysgol Plasmawr Ysgol Glantaf in Llandaff North. He helped Cardiff under-18 win the Regional Age Grade Championship in 2020 and made his first-team debut in December 2021 during the Heineken Champions Cup double-header.
Despite facing defending champions Toulouse in his debut, Cabango showed glimpses of his pace, and the following week, he scored a sensational solo effort against Harlequins that was later named the club's Try of the Month. Cabango also earned plaudits for his performances in the Welsh Premiership for the Rags.
Although he missed out on Wales under-20 honours due to injury and the Covid-19 pandemic, Cabango finished his debut season with a string of senior games under his belt and memorable tries against Scarlets and Glasgow Warriors.
Cabango is the brother of Swansea and Wales footballer, Ben Cabango, and was named the club's Discovery of the Year at the end of his debut season. He has continued to be a key member of the first-team squad, and he is excited to help lead the next generation of players coming through at the Arms Park.
