Alessandro Fusco, born on October 28, 1999, is an Italian professional rugby union player who primarily plays as a scrum-half for Zebre Parma in the United Rugby Championship. He has also represented the Italian national team in test matches.

Fusco comes from a rugby family, with his great-grandfather Elio Fusco being a notable figure in Italian rugby during the 1960s. Elio Fusco represented Italy eleven times as a player and also coached Partenope, a successful team that won the Top10 competition in 1965 and 1966. Alessandro's grandfather was also a rugby player.

In his professional career, Fusco has played for clubs such as Fiamme Oro. He joined Zebre as a Permit Player for the end of the 2019-20 Pro14 season and the 2020-21 Pro14 season. He made his debut for Zebre in Round 6 of the 2020-21 Pro14 against Munster.

At the international level, Fusco has been part of the Italy Under 20 squad in 2018 and 2019. He has since been included in the national team's squads, including the 2022 end-of-year rugby union internationals.

In 2022, Fusco achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first person from Naples to play in the Six Nations championship. He made an appearance for Italy against England, replacing Stephen Varney.

Additionally, in June 2023, Fusco was named in the Italy Sevens squad for the 2023 Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series, showcasing his versatility in the shorter format of the game.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Fusco has been named in the squad for Italy.
