Rod Moore was born in Sydney, Australia on the 6th January 1972, he was educated at Carlingford High School.
The powerful tighthead prop displayed early potential representing the Australian Schoolboy side and later the NSW Waratahs team in Super Rugby.
He earned a Wallaby test cap when he debuted against USA in 1999 and made 13 further appearances until 2002.
Moore joined Irish side Ulster in 2003 thus ending his Wallaby career that included one Rugby World Cup appearance in 1999 and test matches against the British and Irish Lions.
