Matt Williams Signed his first professional contract with London Irish in 2016. The young centre played a key role in helping Wellington College clinch the 2014/15 Daily Mail Schools Trophy with victory over Tonbridge.
He has represented England at under-16, 17 and 18 level and in August 2015 featured in the Exiles’ Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens campaign. Williams also toured South Africa with England Under-18s in 2016.
Williams was called up to the England U20 squad in January 2018, off the back of a strong start to his time with London Irish.
Benefitting from game time during the Exiles’ 2016/17 promotion winning season, Williams has featured at centre during the club’s 2017/18 European campaign.
