Soroka is an Ukrainian born Loosehead prop, who was raised in Ireland. Having spent time on trial at Connacht in the 2016-17 preseason, he was handed a full contract for the season. Although having not represented Ireland or Ukraine at junior age groups, Soroka is eligible to represent both nations in the future.
At the end of the 2016/17 season Soroka was released on the expiration of his contract.
