Welsh u20 International Rhy Davies signed a long-term Academy contract with Bath Rugby ahead of the 2017-18 season.

The second-rower played a prominent role during Bath’s U18 2016/17 campaign, whilst also helping Wales U18 to a 29-19 triumph over England U18 in March.

The youngster made his Bath United debut against Harlequins A at the Rec in March 2018 and was named in Wales u20 squad for the World Rugby U20 Championship in France, having been involved with side during the U20 Six Nations.

In March 2020, he signed a two-year deal to join the Ospreys and made 19 appearances in the 2020/21 season.

in the 2021/22 season he made a further 16 Ospreys appearances, with two in the Champions Cup and 14 in the United Rugby Championship.

After 30 appearances for the Welsh region, Davies was given a new three-year contract extension to remain at the club until the 2025 season.

In the 2022/23 season thus far, Davies made a further 14 appearances in the United Rugby Championship, scoring one try, five appearances in the Champions Cup and two appearances for Wales in the Six Nations Championship.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Davies has been named in the training squad for Wales.
