Wounded Quins brace for fired up Falcons

Semi-finalists Harlequins will look to regroup on their home turf this weekend after falling prey to Sale in Round 21. This weekend, they will face Newcastle Falcons who came back well against Worcester Warriors in the last round after taking a pasting from Exeter Chiefs the weekend before.
Harlequins experienced something of a wake-up call last weekend after they looked dazed in the face of a powerful display from Sale.
The Falcons came out firing against Worcester at Kingston Park, attacking beautifully out wide to build a swift 17-0 lead. The home side found themselves 24-0 up before Worcester appeared on the scoreboard. Worcester managed another try some four minutes before the final whistle but it was too little too late as Falcons secured a deserved victory.
It was in fact Falcons who triumphed the last time these sides met – in Round 11 at Kingston Park.
