World Rugby release their four man shortlist for the Men's 15s Player of the Year

World Rugby has revealed the four man shortlist for the Men's 15 World Player of the Year.
The shortlist consists of two Australias as well as a Frenchman and an Englishman.
Wallabies centre Samu Kerevi has been shortlisted alongside his captain Michael Hooper while Antoine Dupont claims a nomination alongside England's Maro Itoje.
The four man shortlist was decided on by a panel consisting of: Maggie Alphonsi (ENG), Fiona Coghlan (IRE), Thierry Dusautoir (FRA), George Gregan (AUS), Richie McCaw (NZL), Brian O’Driscoll (IRE), Melodie Robinson (NZL), John Smit (RSA), Clive Woodward (ENG)
The World Rugby Men's XV Player of the Year is one of six categories in which fans will decide the winner through a voting process.
The other five are the World Rugby Women’s 15s and Sevens Player of the Year as well as Men’s and Women’s Try of the Year on the Awards’.
