Will Genia made a surprise appearance for GPS in Queensland Premier Rugby over the weekend with the former Wallaby coming on in the last 20 minutes of the game against Souths replacing his brother.
Genia said he’d love to play again before he returns to Japan with his club in Japan giving him clearance to return to action in Queensland.
One of Australian Rugby Union’s most decorated half-backs make his return to club Rugby with Will Genia pulling on the boots for GPS.
Genia first played for the Gallopers as a colt back in 2006, and relished the chance to play alongside his brother Nigel and help the club secure a 59-14 win over Souths.
