Wales opened up the weekend's action of International rugby with a hard fought 19-17 victory over Samoa at Apia Park.

The All Blacks secured a 15 point victory in the long awaited 1st Test between the British and Irish Lions and New Zealand

Sean O'Brien finished a fantastic try by the Lions in the 35th minute as New Zealand went into the break 13-8 ahead.

Rieko Ioane was a surprise addition to the All Blacks starting XV, but the 20-year-old did not disappoint as he scored a double.

Kieran Read returned from a thumb injury and the All Blacks captain was sensational in his side victory.
