Racing 92 suspend Castrogiovanni over Vegas antics

In a statement released late yesterday afternoon, Racing 92 confirmed the suspension of prop Martin Castrogiovanni after a picture of him partying with PSG players appeared in the media. Castro was reportedly supposed to be in Argentina seeing to a "family health problem".

Western Force make seven changes for their clash against Bulls

After a disappointing performance against the Waratahs, head coach Michael Foley has taken swift action to reform the side.

“As a team, our opportunity to respond to a disappointing performance comes on Friday night,” he said.

“Every person in the team cares, but the way to best show that is on the field. While we’ve encountered some challenges this season, it’s important we look forward to attacking and enjoying every contest.”

Harry Scoble will replace the injured Heath Tessmann while  Ian Prior will start at 10, with Luke Morahan on the wing.

Forward Anaru Rangi has been named on the bench for his potential Super Rugby debut.




100 days until Sevens Rugby kicks off at the Rio Olympics

The Rio Olympics will host its opening ceremony on 5 August and Sevens Rugby will be the first team sport medal to be contested at the games from 6-11 August.


This is the first time rugby will be included as an Olympic sport since 1924.
