Former England and Wallabies coach Eddie Jones, made an appearnce on 'Big' Jim Hamiltons podcast recently where he essentially for the first time broke his silence on his depature from the Australian national rugby team.
Speaking on "Walk the Talk", Jones clarified a lot of what may seem as "unanswered questions" since his second spell with the Wallabies.
"In Australia, there was too much fighting there and that was my fault, I probably went to hard at them. But that was part of it, they try create some news about rugby," Jones said.
However, Jones also expressed support and belief in his Wallabies successor, Joe Schmidt. "At the end of the day, sometimes you have to make changes for the place to be successful, and I've got no doubt that Joe Schmidt will improve the team. I think there's good young players there that will start to come through now."
