Wallabies shave their heads for unwell Lealiifano

28-year-old Christian Lealiifano was diagnosed with leukaemia this month after a short illness.

In a mark of respect, a number of Wallabies have shaved their heads ahead of the Rugby Championship opener against the All Blacks.

Star players David Pocock, Matt Giteau and Matt Toomua were among those who had shaved their heads in a sign of solidarity for Lealiifano.

Lealiifano has been a standout performer for the Brumbies in recent Super Rugby seasons, racking up 117 games and 19 tests for Australia.
