URC Round Up | Bulls & Cardiff stun and Edinburgh escape
- 473

There were three URC games on Friday as the Bulls and Cardiff win at a crucial time of the season. The loss for Glasgow and Munster will affect their season who are trying to position themselves well for the play off games. Edinburgh managed a draw away from home at Zebre to round off the Friday games.
The Bulls Blast Glasgow Away:
In a replay of last seasons final the Bulls turned it on big time away from home. They put on a defensive masterclass keeping Glasgow at bay and then capitalised on a down on their luck side. At one stage the visitors looked as though they would take all five points denying the hosts anything but a great finish to the game saw Glasgow not only come close to securing a draw but earning a valuable losing bonus point which keeps them in second place on the table.
Currie Crushes Zebre Hearts:
Zebre looked sure to secure a win against Edinburgh if it were not for a buzzer beater of a try that saw Matt Currie score and Cameron Scott convert to level the game at full time. A 50 point thriller with Edinburgh nehind on the scoreboard from the 28th minute until when the clock was in the red.
Cardiff Cruise To Munster Win:
Cardiff secured a bonus point win over Munster in a massive swing of points on the URC log table. The win means Cardiff will be sitting in the top eight by the end of the weekend no matter what happens in the other games and Munster could see themselves go as low as 10th spot come Monday.
