Barbarians add 7 players to their squad for Tonga clash
Munster great Donncha O’Callaghan joins the squad along with two current Munster players in props James Cronin and Brian Scott.
Also added to the group are Leinster and Ireland flanker Jordi Murphy, former England and British & Irish Lions lock Geoff Parling, giant Australia wing Taqele Naiyaravoro and Castres flier David Smith.
Rhys Webb and Justin Tipuric in doubt for Wales
Ospreys duo Rhys Webb and Justin Tipuric are in doubt for the clash with the Wallabies on Saturday as they are still battling to be fit after leg injuries.
"We have a couple of knocks with Rhys Webb and Justin Tipuric," Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards told BBC.
"We will wait until the last minute until we name the team on Thursday.
"We will give them as much time as possible before making an educated decision."
Munster Rugby squad update
Following Munster's 49-6 victory over Dragons at Irish Independent Park on Friday night, the team has confirmed that the three players who were released from Irish camp for the Dragons game – Ian Keatley, Darren Sweetnam and Chris Farrell – have rejoined their eight Munster team-mates in Joe Schmidt’s squad ahead of Saturday’s clash with South Africa.
Georgia name a 32-man squad for November series
The Georgian head coach has named experienced squad for TBC Rugby Series 2017, which includes two uncapped U20 graduates Mirian Modebadze and Giorgi Kveseladze, who last played for Junior Lelos at World Rugby U20 Championship 2017 in Georgia.
