Top Performers - Hurricanes v Blues
- 1366
We take a look at the Top Performers after the Hurricanes were able to end their three-game losing streak with a 42-24 win over the Blues.
Ngani Laumape
The Blues could not keep the Mini Bus quiet during the first half with the powerful centre scoring a brace and assisting another to give his side a 21-10 lead at halftime.
The compact centre completed his hattrick and add another late in the second half.
He made over 120 running metres beat 9 defenders and 2 clean breaks.

Rieko Ioane
Another fantastic attacking performance by Rieko Ioane. The All Black speedster lined up in the 12 jersey again for the Blues and was still able to claim yet another brace for his side.
His efforts were in vain however as the Hurricanes claimed an important win heading into the playoffs.
Ricky Riccitelli
Riccitelli has certainly made the Hurricanes no.2 jersey his own following injuries to Dane Coles and Asafo Aumua.
He was solid at set pieces and a real workhorse around the park making 15 tackles and 8 carries.
Beauden Barrett
The Hurricanes flyhalf returned in fine form against the Blues. He controlled the Hurricanes backline and made clever decisions as his side ran in 6 tries.
He also made a great interception and a superb offload to put Laumape through for his 4th try.
He also grabbed a 5-pointer for himself.
