Ryan Conbeer was rather impressive in Wales' opening U20 fixture against Italy. The winger showed his natural ability for finishing off tries as he managed to touch down in the corner in superb fashion. Despite having a number of Italian defenders scrambling across, Conbeer managed to avoid the touchline and score what is considered a contender for try of the weekend. The young winger is certainly one to look out for in the U20s tournament.
Ben Foden
Foden had a huge role to play in Northampton Saints' dismantling of Scarlets at Franklins Gardens in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Though his preferred position is at full-back, Foden proved he is equally as threatening when operating from out on the wing, as he caused the Welsh outfit problems every time he was in possession, which resulted in the Englishman crashing over the line for 2 tries. Saints can rest assured that their side are in safe hands while a number of players are on international duty with Foden performing as he is.
James Fish
Despite only making an appearance off the bench in the Saints' encounter with Scarlets, James Fish had a massive impact on how the game panned out. The substitute hooker came into the game on the 50 minute mark and has certainly made a strong argument for a starting role in their next fixture, as he showed magnificent leadership and discipline controlling the Saints' maul and dotting down for 2 tries in the process. The 22 year old certainly has a bright future ahead of him should he perform as he did tonight.
