Owen Farrell - Saracens
Farrell was everywhere for Saracens this afternoon and marshalled his side to an impressive 63-13 victory over Northampton. The out-half was potent in attack and solely responsible for three of Saracens tries as well as managing to cross the white-wash himself. The Saracens man was imperious from the kicking tee throughout and stood up in defence when required.
Rhys Patchell – Scarlets
The young Welsh outhalf was the standout performer in an impressive Scarlets performance which saw them cruise to victory over Glasgow. He was pivotal in everything that was good about the Scarlets attack this afternoon as time and time again he set teammates into key attacking spaces with accurate passing and kicking. He showed mesmerising footwork and an impressive turn of foot to dance through the opposition defence ad touch down a brilliant try.
Max Deegan - Leinster
The young number 8 was outstanding today and was given the MOTM award for his efforts. Leinster really have an embarrassment of riches in the back row and they look to have unearthed another gem in the former St. Michaels man. He managed to get over for a couple of tries, one off of a lapse in concentration from Zebre at the back of the ruck, which he pounced upon. His 2nd was a well-finished effort in the corner, where he dummied and rode the tackle to get in out wide.
