Tom Varndell signs two-year deal with Soyaux Angoulême

Premiership record try-scorer Tom Varndell has signed a two-year deal with Pro D2 club Soyaux Angoulême.

Varndell is the Premiership’s record try-scorer with 92 tries from spells at Leicester Tigers, Wasps and Bristol, where he has played since 2015.
He last played for the Championship leaders against Bedford Blues back in January, scoring an impressive 35 tries in 50 appearances for the blue and white hoops over three seasons.
The winger has four England caps earned between 2005 and 2008.
