Jack O'Connell to join Ealing Trailfinders from Bristol Rugby

Ealing Trailfinders have announced the signing of Jack O’Connell from Bristol Rugby on a one-year contract. 

The loosehead prop has been at Ashton Gate since 2014 but will now head to Vallis Way for the next chapter of his career.

Denny Solomona to appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel

Sale Sharks winger Denny Solomona will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel after an alleged verbal abuse on a Worcester Warriors player during their second half of the weekend’s Premiership match.

The Sharks’ winger will appear before a three-person independent disciplinary panel chaired by Samantha Hillas near Stockport on Thursday 5 April. 

Sam Jones forced into retirement

Wasps have announced the enforced retirement of Sam Jones. The decision has been taken based on medical advice from a leading consultant.

The 26-year-old suffered an ankle dislocation while training with England prior to the 2016 autumn international series.  Full story

Paul Alo-Emile extends Stade Francais stay

Paul Alo-Emile extended his contract with Stade Français Paris by three years. The tighthead prop has started 18 of his 24 appearances and will remain at the club until 2021. 

Robinson signs new Newcastle Falcons deal

Newcastle lock Sean Robinson has signed a new contract extension with the club ahead of Friday’s European Challenge Cup quarter-final at home to Brive.

Dorian West to leave Saints

Northampton Saints has confirmed that forwards coach Dorian West will be leaving the Club by mutual consent at the end of the 2017/18 season.

West is one of the longest-serving coaches in the Premiership, but due to this season’s results the Saints board agreed that a change was in the best interest of the club. Full story
