Munster lose Cronin for 4 weeks

Munster will be without James Cronin for four weeks after the prop was banned for stamping Leinster scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park during Munster’s PRO12 defeat to their rivals last weekend.

He will now miss the club's European games against Racing 92 and Glasgow and their PRO12 fixtures against Ulster and Ospreys.

The ban also rules the international prop out of Ireland’s Test against New Zealand in Chicago on 5 November.

He will be able to play again on November 7, but he has the right to appeal the ban.

Luke Wallace re-signs for Harlequins

Harlequins confirm today that Luke Wallace has re-signed for the Club.

Wallace, a specialist openside flanker, has made 135 appearances for the Club since his debut against Newcastle Falcons in 2009 and has scored 16 tries.

The 26-year-old was named adidas Supporters’ Player of the Season, IG Players’ Player of the Season, and DHL Player of the Season.

Jimmy Gopperth named Premiership Rugby Player of the Month for September

Dacey signs new Cardiff Blues deal

Kristian Dacey is the latest player to pledge his future to Cardiff Blues after signing a new long-term deal with the region.

Dacey follows in the foot-steps of fellow Wales internationals Tom James and Gethin Jenkins, who have both agreed fresh terms in recent weeks.

The 27-year-old hooker made his Cardiff Blues debut in 2010 and has since gone one to establish himself as a first team regular and an international.
