Things you didn't know: Alex Lozowski

Alex Lozowski was named in Eddie Jones' England squad for the first time ahead of the November test series against South Africa, Fiji, Australia and Argentina.

We take a look at a few things you didn't know about the Saracens out half:

His father, Rob Lozowski, made 283 apperances at Alex's former club Wasps. Rob was also a capped England international.

Alex was a former member of the Chelsea academy and was released at the age of 16, being deemed too small. Lozowski also had trails at Arsenal.

Alex has a mixed heritage with Lozowski having mixed Polish and Italian heritage.

Lozowski has dual nationality, with the out half being both eligible for Italy and England. Italy boss O'Shea had expressed an interest in calling up Lozowski to the Azzuri but that ship looks to have sailed.

Lozowski studied Economics in Leeds University and initially started out on the 3XV side of the University before moving onto bigger and better things with Yorkshire Carnegie.
