Springbok's Japan stints may be a thing of the past
According to local media reports, a clause in Springbok player's contracts state that they have to be rested in October - ruling out the opportunity to play for Japanese clubs.

“Due to the fact that the contracted Boks have to rest in October and tour Europe in November, it leaves them with no space to play in Japan, because players (according to Japanese rugby bosses) are not allowed to only report (to their clubs in Japan) in December," reported an informed source.

Both Damian De Allende and Handre Pollard were injured during stints at their Japanese clubs this season.
