Got the job done. Made his tackles and was strong in the scrums.
2. Bongi Mbonambi - 6
Lost his first lineout of the World Cup but was solid elsewhere in the rucks, on defence and carried well.
3. Frans Malherbe - 7
Like the Beast, Malherbe was strong in the scrum and so on defece.
4. Eben Etzebeth - 7
Aggressive for 52 minutes. Set a great platform to drive from, got stuck into the Welsh pack and contested well.
5. Lood de Jager - 7
Much like Etzebeth. Solid and run a good lineout.
6. Siya Kolisi - 6
Quick to the rucks, tackled well and carried strongly.
7. Pieter-Steph Du Toit - 8.5
Another strong showing. Chased every kick well, made a massive 18 tackles missing just two.
8. Duane Vermeulen - 8.5
Made a massive 46 running metres from 9 carries. Tackled superbly and was excellent in the rucks.
9. Faf de Klerk - 6
Had few great kicks but had a few bad ones in a mixed bag performance. Also dropped a sitter into touch but came up with a great kick in the latter stages.
10. Handre Pollard - 8.5
Had an excellent break that led to De Allende's try. Made all his attempted tackles and was 100% from the tee to steer the Boks to victory.
11. Makazole Mapimpi - 7
Chased the Boks kicks well and caused Wales a number of issues.
12. Damian de Allende - 8
Scored a brilliant try that put the Boks in the driving seat. Solid on defence and provided the Springboks with great front foot ball.
13. Lukhanyo Am - 7
Made a few great cover tackles, saw little ball but managed to beat a defender and complete a nice offload.
14. Sbu Nkosi - 6
Contested well in the air. Chased down well and made 25 running metres in quiet game.
15. Willie Le Roux - 7
A far more convincing display than the one he had in the quarter final. Solid under the high ball, had some nice runs and linked up well.
