Sisterhood at Harlequins as Sisters Re-Unite

Harlequins are excited to announce Emily Robinson has renewed her contract with the Club and will be joined by her sister and new signing Flo Robinson.

The duo, who both came through the Harlequins Development Pathway, will reunite in Quins colours with Flo returning to The Stoop following a three-year stint with Exeter Chiefs.

Scrum-half Flo began her rugby career at Pulborough RFC in Sussex, before moving to Exeter Chiefs where she became a mainstay in their starting XV. Her performances at club level earnt her a call-up to the Red Roses squad in 2021.

Commenting on her signing, Flo said: “I'm really looking forward to playing the free-flowing brand of rugby Quins play, and to develop my skills as a player. The group are building something great, and I hope to add to that. I’m excited to see what this season holds back with Quins.”

Attack and Transition Coach Ross Chisholm, said: “It is great to see a player who has come through our pathway return. Flo has been in fantastic form with Exeter, seeing them make a top four finish last season. We’re excited to see what she’s going to bring to Quins and how she’ll develop her game further at the Club."

Emily also began her career at Pulborough RFC and has been one of the biggest success stories of the Harlequins Centre of Excellence Programme and link with Worthing College.

The loose forwr has made 49 appearances in the Quarters, is a prominent leader in the Quins squad, holding the role of vice-captain throughout last season. She made her Red Roses debut during the 2022 Six Nations, coming off the bench against Italy.

Speaking on her new contract, Emily said: “This season brings many new opportunities for us and for me to play with my sister will be really special. This Club and this group hold lots of special memories and I can't wait to make more.”
