Simelane & Green left out of Lions' Australasian touring squad

Youngsters Wandisele Simelane and Tyrone Green have been left out of the Lions' Australasian touring squad but have been included on the list of six players who have been put on standby.

 

Harold Vorster, James Venter, Jan Henning Champher, Tyrone Green, Wandisele Simelane and captain Warren Whitely are the six players placed on standby with a few of the players still working their way back from injury.

 

Malcolm Marx will lead the 26 man touring squad, with one player being added to the squad after their first match against the Brumbies.
