Sean Maitland to leave Saracens at the end of the season?

Scotland winger Sean Maitland is being linked to a move away from Saracens by multiple sources and make a return to former club Glasgow Warriors.

The Glasgow Warriors unofficial fansite is reporting that the move will go ahead but there has been no word from the PRO14 outfit to officially confirm the return of the Scottish international.

During his previous spell with Glasgow Maitland made 40 appearances and scored ten tries after joining from the Crusaders in 2012. He departed Glasgow for a move to London Irish before linking up with Saracens.

Maitland was always likely to leave the club following their drop to the Championship and will join the likes of George Kruis, Rhys Carré, Richard Wigglesworth, Ben Spencer, Nick Isekwe, Alex Lozowski, Nick Tompkins, Will Skelton, Joel Kpoku and Titi Lamositele in leaving the club.

Capped 51 times by Scotland, Maitland appeared in the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cup as well as touring with the Lions in 2013.
