Scotland-Williamson to join Quins after NFL stint

Harlequins look set to welcome big second-row Christian Scotland-Williamson back to the Premiership from the NFL which the 27-year-old joined 2019. However, a foot injury last summer saw Scotland-Williamson return to London where he was, until recently, a free agent. 

Scotland-Williamson famously shot to prominence after a bone-crunching tackle which he put in on Wasps player Alex Rieder in 2017 while the former was playing for Worcester Warriors.

Scotland-Williamson's departure means that the NFL is left with only one former Premiership participant in Christain Wade (former England winger) whose try-scoring record was recently broken by Sam Simmonds.
