Lost out in the scrum.

2. Stuart McInally - 5

Not great at the set piece.

3. WP Nel - 4

Lost out in the scrum to Cian Healy.

4. Grant Gilchrist - 5 

A couple of missed tackles, no impact going forward.

5. Jonny Gray - 5

Defended well as always making 11 tackles.

6. John Barclay - 4 

Seemed to struggle with the conditions. 

7. Hamish Watson - 6

Was Scotland's top tackler in the 1st half and only player who could come out of the game somehwat happy with his performance. Worrying times though as Watson was stretchered off at the end of the 1st half.

8. Ryan Wilson - 5

No impact going forward, outplayed by his opposite number.

9. Greig Laidlaw - 5

Didn't get control of the game.

10. Finn Russell - 4

The playmaker just did not look interested today.

11. Sean Maitland - 6

Made a few breaks but nothing coming to fruition.

12. Sam Johnson - 5

Made his tackles, struggled going forward.

13. Duncan Taylor - 4

Failed to make an impact, some poor passes which led to turnovers.

14. Tommy Seymour - 5

Made one nice break but came off after 57 minutes.

15. Stuart Hogg - 4

Not his day, had some bad luck and nothing seemed to come off for Scotland's star man.
