Saturday's Top Performers

Saturday was an action packed day of rugby with many massive clashes around the world involving some of rugby's heavyweights. We take a look at the players who were the driving force behind their team's performances today.

Isa Nacewa

The Leinster captain led by example at the Aviva today in his side's 25-14 win over their interprovincial rivals Munster. The fan favourite bagged himself two tries & slotted a kick at goal late on when called upon. Nacewa looked threatining throughout the game making line breaks or following off the shoulder of Garry Ringrose and others. A good day out for Leinster fans at the home of Irish Rugby.

Beauden Barrett

2 tries & 3 conversions totalled to 19 points for the golden boy of New Zealand rugby today as his side cruised to their 17th consecutive win. The Hurricanes man was devastating in attack once again with his lighting pace causing trouble for the South African defence throughout. A good end to an impressive Rugby Championship for the fly half.

Kyle Sinckler

The young english prop put in a MOTM performance to remember today as Harlequins defeated Northampton Saints at the stoop. Sinckler and veteran Adam Jones were devastating with ball in hand carrying hard and making yards, while also putting in a agressive performance in defence. A bright future lies ahead for the young Harlequins' prop.

Brodie Retallick

The 2014 World Player of the Year showed his class today for the All Blacks, the second row was excellent in attack with unbelivable distrubition and setting up several tries with hard running & several strong carries.

Samu Kerevi

The 23 year old was impressive today for the Wallabies at Twickenham. Two tries against a resilliant Argentinian side resulted in Kerevi being named as MOTM at the conclusive game of this year's Rugby Championship.
