A last-gasp penalty from Marcelo Bosch ten seconds from the final whistle
brought Saracens an unlikely win and maintained English interest in the
European Champions Cup after defeats for Bath, Northampton Saints and Wasps.
Saracens emerged 12-11 winners over Racing Métro in the Paris suburb of
Colombes yesterday when the Londoners’ nous and Bosch’s nerve from 45 metres
proved the difference.
The reward for Saracens is another trip to France on
April 18 in a semi-final to be staged in Saint-Étienne, where they face
