Samu's Rugby Championship is Over

The Wallabies have been dealt another injury blow following their loss to Argentina with the news that Pete Samu has been ruled out of the remainder of the Rugby Championship.
Samu hyper-extended his knee in the 23-19 defeat to Argentina on the Gold Coast on Saturday, with scans on his knee revealing that he would be sidelined for at least a month.
After fellow loose forward Lukhan Tui said he was unlikely to play for the Wallabies again this year so as to spend time with his family in the wake of losing his step-father last week, the news of Samu’s withdrawal from the squad leaves an even bigger hole in the back-row.
Michael Hooper and David Pocock have both withdrawn from matches during the competition but should be fit for the final two matches of the competition.
That means that Ned Hanigan or Caleb Timu are likely to complete the loose trio to face the Springboks.
