Rugby Championship: top stats performers from the weekend
- 2417
The Wallabies made it two from two against the World Champion Springboks on Saturday in a performance which highlighted some glaring inadequacies in the latter’s game. The Wallabies were impressive in the match which saw Michael Hooper surpass George Gregan’s captaincy record and the Boks have their work cut out for them this week if they hope to be competitive against the All Blacks on Saturday.
The All Blacks stuck one on the Argentinians again in a match in which it looked as though Ian Foster’s men might run away with it again, however, Los Pumas became tougher as the game wore on and played a significant amount of the rugby in the second half, although it was not enough to threaten their opponents’ victory.
