Richie Gray and Sam Hidalgo-Clyne ruled out of the Scotland tour

Scotland lock Richie Gray and scrum-half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne have been ruled out of the 2017 summer tour through injury.

Gray is suffering from an ongoing back complaint while Hidalgo-Clyne sustained a hamstring tear during national team training at Oriam on Friday.

Uncapped Edinburgh Rugby scrum-half, Sean Kennedy, has been added to the national team squad as a replacement for Hidalgo-Clyne.

The Scottish team has confirmed that no replacement will be made for Gray at this time.
