Rams pull-off biggest comeback in NRC history

Saturday's clash between Sydney Rams and Queensland Country did not only see the Rams record their first win of 2016, but also the biggest comeback in NRC history, with the side sneaking a 50-46 victory after Queensland Country lead 38-20 at half time.

The Rams scored an early try in the second half to close the gap, but Queensland Country responded with a try of their own to lead 46-28 with just under thirty minutes remaining.

However, the home side hit back with another try to reduce the deficit to just ten points with a quarter to play.

Referee Amy Perrett blew the final whistle to award a penalty try in the 86th minute, resulting in a sneak win for the Rams after a strong second half performance.
