Quins name travelling side to face Gloucester

Will Evans will make his 100th appearance in the Quarters as Harlequins take on Gloucester at Kingsholm on Friday night (19:45 kick off).

Gallagher Premiership rugby returns after a two-week European hiatus and the West Country is where league action will spark back into life as two expansive teams go head-to-head live on TNT Sports.

Danny Wilson has opted to make four changes from the starting side who crushed a travelling DHL Stormers outfit at The Stoop last weekend – Dino Lamb, Will Evans, Will Porter and Lennox Anyanwu all returning.

The front row remains unchanged as the recently re-signed Fin Baxter, Jack Walker and Simon Kerrod pack down. They’ll be supported by George Hammond and a second Harlequin to recently become a club centurion, Dino Lamb as the Italian international returns from mandatory rest.

Will Evans will chalk up 100 appearances in the Quarters when he steps out onto the pitch at Kingsholm. Meanwhile, Chandler Cunningham-South continues to operate at blindside with skipper Alex Dombrandt at No 8 – fresh from signing a new contract with the Club


Will Porter comes back into the starting XV at scrum half to partner Marcus Smith at fly-half. Lennox Anyanwu slots back into the side at inside centre with Oscar Beard in the number 13 jersey.

The back three of Cadan Murley, Rodrigo Isgro and Tyrone Green remains unchanged.


Sam Riley, Wyn Jones and Dillon Lewis are once again Danny Wilson’s front row impact options, alongside lock Irne Herbst and loose forward James Chisholm. Danny Care, Jarrod Evans and Nick David complete Quins’ matchday 23.
