PRO14 Highlights: Ulster 16-17 Edinburgh
- 986
Edinburgh grabbed a last minute drop goal to earn a great away victory against Ulster. Ulster got off to the best of starts with a well worked team try that was finished off by Cooney, who scored all of Ulster's points. Ulster dominated territory and possession in the first half until the 35th minute when Hidalgo-Clyne broke from deep and kicked ahead for Harries to score and level the score. The first twenty minutes of the second half were quiet with Ulster holding a 13-7 lead but Edinburgh got back into the game with a great try by Carmichael to take the lead. Ulster had looked like they closed the game out with a Cooney penalty but in the final play of the game, Weir showed the nerve to take a drop goal and win the game.
