Pro 12 Highlights: Scarlets v Munster Rugby (Round 1)

It was a pretty lacklustre game here in Parc Y Scarlets today. Scarlets dominated the possession early on but struggled to convert their dominance into points on the scoreboard. This was partly due to Handling errors and poor execution but predominantly down to the outstanding Munster defence. Their line speed was fantastic and they were constantly in the Scarlets faces piling on the pressure and forcing many of the handling errors. Tommy O' Donnell earned the man of the match award after a fantastic tackling and carrying display. Munster will be happy with the result but will be looking to improve their offence going forward, whereas Scarlets will need to improve their handling and become more clinical in attack.
