Saracens vs Worcester Warriors:
Second-placed Saracens will host the Worcester Warriors at StoneX Stadium. Sarries are coming off a 3-point loss to Exeter Chiefs and will be hungry to add to their 6 victories of the campaign thus far.
Worcester still find themselves struggling overall after having registered just three wins in the comp to date. They will enjoy some good momentum going into this one, however, as they enjoyed a slim but hard-fought victory over Wasps in the last round.
With light, rainy conditions expected, much will depend on the performances of the forward packs and Worcester will have to dig deep to gain parity with the powerful Saracens unit.
Wasps vs London Irish:
The Exiles travel to the Coventry Building Society Arena where they will attempt to take the sting out of the Wasps attack. The former have been on great form in recent weeks, crushing Newcastle in the previous round and pulling one over the defending champions the week before.
By Contrast, Wasps are in a poor space and have lost three in a row going into this fixture. Their most recent misfortune occurring at Sixways.
Exiles currently lead this weekend’s rivals 7 points on the log and, while they are cruising along strongly, one feels that Wasps, with their talented squad, have to find rhythm at some stage in the competition. On their home turf, could this be the week?
