Premiership Rugby Cup Highlights: Gloucester v Northampton Saints

A very scrappy game dominated by errors due to the weather. Freddy Clarke laid down a really good foundation from the base of the scrum. Tom Wood and Cobus Reinach kept the visitors in the game for a long period of time. Ryan Ackerman made his way on to the park early in the second half. Ackerman played a very composed game as he constantly beat defenders. Billy Twelvetrees played very well as he took control of the midfield. The game was won in the 81st minute by Gloucester. They were deserved winners of the encounter as they did the bulk of the playing work.
