More twists and turns this weekend as the Premiership relegation battle heats up with 7 rounds to go

The weekend kicked off with a huge effort on Friday night by Bristol to beat West-Country rivals Gloucester to reach 30 points for the season. Leicester with victory over Wasps eased any slight concerns that they could be dragged into the battle.

That put the pressure on the HUGE fixture between Worcester and Newcastle. A defeat for Falcons and they were in serious trouble but an inspired Toby Flood and co put in mammoth first half effort to claim victory over 11th placed Worcester and make sure that this battle for survival will go to the wire.
