Saints dominated the first hour of this clash despite Marcus Watson scoring a great try from a moment of brilliance from Malakai Fekitoa. Reinach and Harrison scored in the first half for the Saints with Wood charging down Robson at the start of the second to make it 10-28. Jimmy Gopperth inspired a Wasps comeback as he came off the bench to score a superb solo try before Matteo Minozzi finished off a pearlier for Wasps to make it 24-28 after 60 minutes. A red card to Tom Collins for taking the man out in the air gave Wasps more hope and a penalty try and yellow card to Cobus Reinach should have given Wasps the win it if weren't for the human bulldozer that is Taqele Naiyaravoro who scored for the visitors to seal the victory, their first at the Ricoh Arena.
