Premiership Highlights: Northampton Saints v Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks ran out convincing 25-34 winners as they faced Northampton at Franklins Gardens. An early try from Denny Solomona and a Faf de Klerk penalty gave the visitors a 10-0 lead inside 15 minutes. Northampton responded with a penalty kick but Solomona managed to cross the white-wash minutes later for his second score of the game, cementing Sales dominant position in the game. The English winger managed to grab a hat-trick before the interval while a score from Marland Yarde gave Sale a 6-31 lead at the interval. Northampton responded in the second half with tries from Michael Patterson,  Rob Horne and Heinrich Brussow but it was never enough to close the deficit. Sale let their discipline slip in the second half with Mike Haley and Jono Ross spending time in the sin bin but they always looked comfortable in victory. FT Northampton 25 Sale Sharks 34.
