Newcastle beat Exeter 28-20 in a thrilling fixture at Kingston Park. Newcastle started the game off brilliantly with an outstanding try from Sinoti Sinoti game the home side an early lead. From there Newcastle never took their foot off the pedal and went into the break leading by a whopping 25-3. Exeter came into the second half a different side and crawled their way back to the point where the game could have gone either way but Newcastle managed to hold out and the scores finished 28-20.
