Potential season-ending injury for Willis
- 1972
A ‘crocodile roll’ clean-out from Italy flanker Sebastian Negri on England flanker Jack Willis appears to have quite possibly ended the latter’s season.
The 24 year-old will consult with specialists going forward but his coach at Premiership side Wasps, Lee Blackett, does not seem overly optimistic regarding the severity of the injury.
“He is going to see the specialist again in the next 10-14 days,” Blackett said.
The highs and lows of Rugby...
I have loved every second of training and playing in an England shirt and it has been a dream come true to be involved in such a great group of lads and coaches. I’m truly gutted with the way it ended on Saturday but these things happen... pic.twitter.com/gbnQ4V4HLN

“I think he is going to be out for a good chunk of time. I have spoken to him a few times on text. He is pretty down, probably because when you have had a serious injury you know what is coming and you know what a big challenge it is.
“The one thing about Jack is he is an out and out professional, and he will get back as quickly as anyone could possibly get back.”
