A very solid 68 minute shift by the loosehead, worked for the team making 18 tackles and missing zero.
2. Jamie George - 7
Solid at the line out. Made a nice turnover and tackled well, making 17 tackles.
3. Kyle Sinckler - 8
Few problems at the scrum. Great crash line to score England's 3rd try. When Australia started piling on the pressure, a great rip in the tackle a few metres out gave England some much needed breathing space. Great shift.
4. Maro Itoje - 7
Very strong in defence. Very powerful around the park.
5. Courtney Lawes - 7
A brilliant shift in defence, 14 tackles attempted, 14 completed.
6. Tom Curry - 8
Some great hits. Work rate was off the charts.
7. Sam Underhill - 8
Dangerous at the breakdown securing a great turnover. Work rate like Curry was exceptional around the park.
8. Billy Vunipola - 7
Didn't carry as effectively as he usually does but worked extremely hard in defence.
9. Ben Youngs - 7
Australia did look to reduce the threat of Youngs' box kicks with their game management but when he did get the chance to box kick it was effective. Work around the park helped set England up on the front foot. Nice grubber through to put Australia in behind.
10. Owen Farrell - 8
Controlled the tempo of the game superbly, when England attacked he managed to put his side on the front foot. Good off the tee too.
11. Jonny May - 8
Superb stuff yet again from May. His first 2 touches in the first half, 2 tries!
12. Manu Tuilagi - 7
Some really strong carries which gave England a good position to work off.
13. Henry Slade - 7
Excellent composure to setup England's 2nd try. Great intercept and chip through to setup May. Few knock ons.
14. Anthony Watson - 7
Looked dangerous when he got the ball, always looking to beat the defender. Got a deserved try with an intercept late on.
15. Elliot Daly - 6
Out-paced by Koroibete for the Aussies first try. Not involved as much as usual.
Australia
Scott Sio - 6
Solid in the scrum and had decent all round play.
Tolu Latu - 6
Made nine carries in the match and had a few lovely little breaks around the park.
Allan Alaalatoa - 6
Solid in the scrum, made 100% of his tackles and carried the ball seven times.
Izack Rodda - 4
Really quiet game for the lock and he didn't really dominate lineout time.
Rory Arnold - 5
Arnold also had a very quiet game by his standards but he did steal a few crucial lineouts in the second half.
David Pocock - 6.5
Made 100% of his tackles today and was really a thorn in the English attack in the first-half.
Michael Hooper © - 7
It was a captain's performance by the New South Wales star today, making eight carries and nine tackles.
Isi Naisarani - 4
He made 18 carries which is surprising for a man we hard saw around the park.
Will Genia - 5
The 31-year-old need a big game today if he was going to get his side over the line today, but sadly he couldn't produce a special performance.
Christian Lealiifano - 5
100% kicking success but just couldn't get the backline firing.
Marika Koroibete - 6
He was very quiet in the first-half but once he started getting ball in hand he showed how destructive he can be, he also scored a wonderful solo try.
Samu Kerevi - 7
He was probably his side’s best player on the field, although he didn't have much opportunity in open space. The centre went looking for work all over the park and had a little hand in Koroibete’s try.
Jordan Petaia - 5
Started well and then faded badly!
Reece Hodge - 4
Another player that we didn't really know that he was on the field today.
Kurtley Beale - 6
The versatile star tried all sorts tricks today but sadly he was not supported well enough. Beale made 139 metres on his own which was the most in the Wallabies side.
